Are we not insane? Unmask the Mask.

Is it the fear of saying the right thing or the fear of saying the right thing in a wrong way that made our people refused to talk? Why are we living unauthentic life? Let us unmask the mask and then face reality. I think, some Igbos, precisely some of our governors love money more than they love their brothers. Before now, I use to think that the love of money is the root of all evil but now I have learnt that, it is the "greediness" that is the root of evil. Why did I say so? These people have the money yet they are not satisfied; they want power.

Igbos!!! We are the cause of our problems. You call him ENYIOMA of Ndi Igbo (for Ebonyi State), or OCHIOHA Ndi Igbo (for South East), what did he do to merit that? Is the killing of Igbos in Aba that merited him that? Even if we all are not in support of Nnamdi Kanu, what about Python Dance; the killing of Innocent Igbos calling them terrorist. Terrorists terrorizing with what? Can you talk about security? If you think there is security, then why do you lock your doors? Why do you go around with personal security or don't you travel abroad? Why do people build tall fences?  In abroad, they don't build fences, rather they plant flowers for decoration. Where are our politicians? Don't you travel abroad? All these are signs of insecurity in Nigeria. Why can't the Python dance be done on Fulani herdsmen and their cow?
Igbo Politicians!!! Who is fooling who? We are fooling ourselves.

I am not talking about secession, rather I am talking about the unity of Nigeria. Yes Buhari said on his speech when he visited Ebonyi State,

"Igbo is Nigeria and Nigeria is Igbo. Both are inseparable"

I love that, both are inseparable because of oil. But we have to tell ourselves the truth. That object of unity which I think is "Oil" will one day cease to be there. By then Nigeria will be dismembered among the oil nations. We have refused to reason beyond today and that is the main reason Nigerians behave like those in the state of nature. That is why Nigeria seem to be one of the most disorderly nation in the world. That oil will not continue to be there.

What about the area the oil comes from? Are they not Nigerians? I heard about sanitization of Ogoni oil spillage. Waiting forward to hearing more about it again. If our politicians think they are enjoying now, if they think politics is  pleasant, they should know that not everything that is pleasant or enjoying is good. But everything that is good is pleasant.

Those people who buy our oil, do you think they will continue to buy the oil? They have started manufacturing another energy source alternative. They have cars that use solar energy, electricity, bio cells etc.   Those people have plan for their future unlike Nigeria and this has made me to say that  Nigeria is not a place we can sleep at night knowing that tomorrow will be better as he quoted in his speech in number 9.  How many ministers are from Igbo? What and what has he done for us...? Maybe he will favor us in 2018 budget. But don't we have representatives there in the house of Assembly? Who knows?

I think this great country will be better if we follow the rule of law. Let our politicians stop using human beings as means to end rather let them consider their fellow human being as an end itself. Igbos, how do we treat ourselves. We have many cases of kidnapping,  robbering, 419 every where. We use our intelligence for negative things. We are the problem we have.

The reward for doing the right thing is a hundred times better than doing the wrong or heartless thing. I am talking to our politicians now. This men who use gun everywhere, how did they get the guns. You can kill to ascend that office of Local Government Chairman, Governor or President... but only posterity will tell.

Who is fooling who, we are fooling ourselves. Let us unmask the mask and face reality.

FORGIVE ME. By Onuh Justus Izuchukwu

I was the man who misunderstood her intentions. She saw a Rose (flower) in my computer bag and she insisted in knowing who it is meant for...
